She Was Pretty (2015) **She Was Pretty** follows the heartwarming journey of **Kim Hye-jin**, a cheerful young woman who was once known for her beauty during childhood. As she grows older, however, her appearance changes dramatically after inheriting her father's frizzy hair and freckles, while her family's financial struggles force her to give up the comfortable life she once enjoyed. Despite these setbacks, Hye-jin remains optimistic and works hard to rebuild her life, even though she often feels insecure about her appearance. Meanwhile, **Ji Sung-joon**, Hye-jin's childhood best friend, experiences the opposite transformation. Once an overweight and timid boy who relied on Hye-jin for confidence, he grows into a successful and handsome editor after moving overseas. Years later, Sung-joon returns to Korea and contacts Hye-jin, hoping to reunite with the girl who had always encouraged him. Embarrassed by how much she has changed, Hye-jin loses confidence and asks her beautiful best friend, **Min Ha-ri**, to meet Sung-joon in her place while pretending to be her. The harmless lie quickly grows into a complicated situation.
